Victoria Silvstedt was born in a very small village. She has one elder sister and one younger brother. She hails from a middle class family. From childhood she was crazy for skiing. Due to her discipline and hardwork, she even became a member of Swedish national ski team and stood 4th among her Olympic teammate. But Victoria had to leave her skiing career because of devastating shoulder injury.

In 1993, Victoria Silvstedt made an entry into Miss Sweden contest and to everybody surprise, she came out as a first runner up because she never had a girlish feeling in herself. Because of skiing, she used to live like a boy and never wore a high heels. But Victoria’s determination did the unbelievable. Then she represented Sweden in Miss World contest and reached among the 8 finalist.

This in turn changed the fate of Victoria Silvstedt and she was flooded with modeling offers. She was singed by a Parisian modeling agency and other big companies like Chanel, Christian Dior, Loris Azzaro, Givenchy, Valentino, and Giorgio Armani. Victoria started getting recognition from her work as she started appearing in lots of fashion magazines.

In 1996, Victoria Silvstedt was approached by Hugh Hefner of playboy for a quick photo shoot. As being a european, she was aware of the result. Because of wider distribution of playboy, she became famous all over the world. In result, Victoria appeared in lots of other world’s famous magazine like GQ, FHM, MAXIM, GEAR. This publicity and fame amazed Victoria as she never expected so much from a small quick photo shoot.

In 2001, Victoria Silvstedt recorderd her own album “runaway girl” which was a big hit in Europe. Eventually due to her fame, she became the spokesmodel for GUESS? Jeans. Victoria has appeared in lots of TV shows not only in Europe but of other countries also. She appeared in UK TV show like The late show on Virgin Radio and Eurotrash. In America, she appeared in TV show Melrose Place and MTV’s real world. She has appeared in many Italian tv shows as well. She appeared in motion pictures like Boat Trip, The Independent, BASEketball, and Out Cold.

Victoria Silvstedt also tried her hands in mainstream movies. She has shown guest appearance in some hollywood movies and now taking lead roles in Italian movies. Victoria has launched her own Lingerie range for becoming an entrepreneur.

On the personal front, Victoria Silvstedt had been quite comfortable. She married with WCBS-TV Sports telecaster, Chris Wragge in 2000 and living happily with him in Newyork.
